   Adorable and washable which when you’ve got a 2 year old to babysit is a huge deal. My nephew loves the little animals and even if he doesn’t yet understand quite that they go in the little barn and not in his mouth (or the dog’s food dish), at least they are soft and easy to clean, and if he decides to throw one, nobody gets injured. (He has an arm like a pro league pitcher already!) I especially like that there are so many different animals. Will likely buy another package of these next year, by then he will have lost at least half these or finally destroyed a few. They will wear out and tear up if you smash them hard enough or if the dog chews them.But all in all a good, tough, safe, easy care choice and great for toddlers (and their dogs)!

   Lat year when my daughter turned 1 she picked out the ‘Caring For Animals’ little people farm, and has absolutely loved it all year. So for her 2nd birthday this year we’re adding some new characters to it. These are a nice addition, though they are a little bit bigger than the animals that came with her farm (we have a pig already and the one from this set is much thicker and taller).My only real complaint was with the packaging – this was mailed simply using a bubble-envelope, so the box the toys come in got pretty beat up. The plastic is cracked, the cardboard portion torn in several spots – I would blame this all on the trip here, but there’s a spot on the box that already had tape on it, as if it was torn before it was mailed. Luckily this is meant as a gift for my own kid, so I’m not too worried about the box, but if it had been meant as a gift for someone else I think I might have wanted to return it. The packaging almost looks like I’ve got a used toy…

   Bought these to replace some farm animals from our 24 year old FP barn and farm set. I’m saving the set for my grandkids, and some of the previous animals had been chewed up by our dog. These animals are much bigger than the old ones, and just look ridiculous IMO. Sent them back.

   Bought these to go with another brand of barn that only had 4 critters. My 2yr old grand daughter loves the “ little people” series and these are a great compliment to the people. They are unbreakable, sturdy, and too big to swallow when she shares with her 9 mo old sister.

   I believe this is the older version of the farm animals that go with the Little People’s Farm. They are the same sturdy material as older Little People’s products. I understand that the new version is made of a hard plastic and not as durable.
