I bought this for my father who has Alzheimer’s. He’s not the only one who loves “Woofie”! My mother laughs and smiles every time she talks about how much joy it’s brought to their lives. When you walk past the doorway in the room where he is much of the time, he’s whimper at you. It’s adorable. My mother hears my father talking to him when he’s in the den with Woofie. My mother talks to him. When I had Woofie in a surprise bag covered with a blanket and drove him over to their house for the first time, I kept telling Woofie to stay quiet and not spoil the surprise until my father took the blanket off from over his head. What a delightful, joyful gift for elderly parents that can’t care for a “real” dog! Thanks you for a great product!

When I first saw this I thought it was expensive until I saw the joy that it brought to my hundred-year-old mother everyday.Could be a child’s toy but is much more suited for an elderly person with diminishing capabilities. It has truly become a companion for my elderly mother and I can tell that she gets great enjoyment and comfort from it. It’s built like a tank and not likely to break. It’s very soft and cuddly and somehow seems to have the ability to interact. I consider it as important to her right now as her medications.

This is a nice replacement for those who can no longer care for a dog. It is voice activated and turns toward voice. Bark is not loud, and makes other cute noises. It even wags the tail sometimes. Only suggestions would be to add more padding, can feel structure underneath. Also wish it raised a paw like the cat does.

She felt loved. I never met her, but I got photos of her smiling. Ouch, but so worth the money spent. Dementia is tough, but there are a few things we can do to help.

Lack of movements. Not enough interaction.

I always find my Amazon deliveries concealed in a box or plastic packagingโฆ this however came in as is with the label slapped on the box. I know itโs silly expecting to find a box in a box but my daughter saw it. There goes her Christmas giftโฆ. (FYI if youโre trying to surprise someone)My daughter has always wanted a dog. Thereโs a no pet policy where we rent. Iโve been buying her those furry toy robotic dogs at the store. This is by far the most realistic sounding dog with life like facial features. She loves the way it blinks and sticks itโs tongue out and moves itโs head around. Itโs motion sensors are on its head, cheeks, and back. Overall sheโs very happy with her new emotional support robo dog.
