I’m a photographer (I’d say advanced amateur) so I’m constantly trying to find ways to improve. Well since both my children are at an age where standing still is out of the question completely I decided to get this little guy for a stand in for portrait work. As others have stated, the detail will not disappoint. Even at near macro size the attention to each ridge is astounding! There is only one place I have seen where the paint was not applied correctly and that is where his crossed arms meet his chest, the dark green of his arms came up on his chest maybe 1/16th of an inch. I can’t really count that as a flaw though as that area is recessed and could have been far worse.

When I saw the pictures of this little guy I laughed. Such a face!! But of course I was concerned that the actual item might not look as good as the photos. Not to worry in this case! He looks EXACTLY like the photo. Very nicely painted, and made of a solid-feeling plastic. I smile every time I look at him on my shelf.

I purchased the Grumpy Dragon to go with the Jungle Dragon and Forest Dragon as toys for my Grandkids. I’ve kept all the dragons though as they are so beautiful! I do a lot of toy photography and these dragons have so much fine detail they can stand up to close up scrutiny. They are sturdy and a pleasure to work with.I’m looking at collecting a few more!

I’ve had this little dragon on my Wishlist for a long time. I finally bought it and I love him. His expression is just perfect and unlike others, the paint job is good so no wonky eyes. Also, he seems really solid but also slightly flexible, so I’m assuming he could take a drop of two if the kids decide to play with him.Now I’m probably going to buy all of the other Safari creatures I have on my list.

I love this little guy. He is extremely cute and looks to be sturdy. I have already dropped it one and there was no damage. For me it is also useful. Normally, he sits inside an old Borden truck pull toy that my grandfather had as a toy. If I am having a bad day or am a little grumpy, I take him out and set him on the table. This is a sign to my husband to know that he needs to βWatch out and donβt poke the bearβ.
