Appears a tad bit artifical in coloring and texture compared to previous Schleich deer releases. Not bad but not the best Schleich deer. Though great realistic pose and antlers on this model. Our little still loves it and is great in their collection. 4/5 stars.

I liked quality of toy but packaging was horrible, toy arrived in clear bag, no company box, nothing. Looks like I bought from dollar tree. Very disappointed.

Looks authentic. I plan to use it along with a doe by the same people. I will put a few Bridal and Groom clothes and a sign that says “the hunt is over”! Wish me luck!

I am a drawing instructor. In my Drawing Animals course, I use these models to teach my students how to draw animals. It is much better for them to work from 3D sources as opposed to photos and these “toys” fit the bill. I have 32 of them. They are accurate enough to draw from utilizing skeletal and muscle charts from the internet to inform understructure. They can light them different ways, draw from many angles and they aren’t going to move. I suggest glueing them down to a piece of foam board to keep them from being easily knocked over. Their relative sizes are not proportional, however.
