These are beautiful examples of Schleich’s artistry. The hand-painting on my set is mostly good, though the penguin arrived with a bit of paint coming off. The polar bears have the most issues with accuracy, such as the eye paint expanding a bit too much to look “normal” on the adult polar bear. That being said, I’ve done tedious detail painting, so I can understand it being a bit out of the borders. It’s not a horrible paint job like some other figurines.Despite some minor issues, they look realistic, and are solid, quality plastic. They’d be just as useful as decor or collectibles for adults, as they are toys for kids. With this set being cold animal-themed, I look forward to using it on my farmhouse tray in the winter months. The reindeer is like a work of art!

I ordered this set of 5 arctic animal toys for my preschooler. They are made by Schleich, a well-known brand from Germany that has been making toys since 1935. This company has a reputation for quality, and these figures are no exception. Each of the animals is well molded and painted. They are durable, detailed, and lifelike. My son likes playing with the mom and baby polar bear the most. It is a nice set for endless hours of creative play! These toys are at a higher price point, but unlike many cheap plastic toys, they will hold up over years and can be passed down to younger siblings, so they are a good value.

I love all of our animal figures from Schleich, which is a German company that makes beautiful animal figures and toys. We have a growing collection and this set of Arctic animals has been a great addition. They are so detailed even though they aren’t that big. The colors are beautiful and accurate and they are so intricate. This set includes a mother and baby polar bear, reindeer, penguin and seal. My kids love playing with these and I am not nervous that they are going to break them because they seem really sturdy and high quality. They can stand on their own and are great for hours of fun. For anyone that is an animal lover, these are a wonderful gift.

This Schleich Artic Animals set is of the high quality we’ve come to expect from this company. This was our go-to brand when we lived in Germany. My kids got to pick a Schleich figurine every time they went to the dentist. We still have them all, and they’re all in great shape despite many years of use. This set’s attention to detail is superb. The facial features especially are stunning. The proportions are the only flaw in this set. The seal, for example, is as long as the polar bear and the reindeer is taller than the polar bear.That wouldn’t be an issue if sold separately, but since these are sold as a set, I thought it was worth mentioning. If you intend to give this set as a gift, please keep in mind that it comes in a small, plain, cardboard box, with each figurine in its own plastic bag. As a result, it will require some sprucing up. Overall, this is an excellent set. Schleich is the way to go if you want quality and beautiful figurines that you don’t have to worry about your child breaking just by playing with them.

The details are amazing, They are great for teaching, learning, and playing! Schleich captures the movement of these animals so beautifully.

We have found it absolutely impossible to go wrong with picking Schleich animals. We’ve been getting these sets or individuals for our daughter since she was two; in part because of her fondness for animals, but also because of how realistic they look. This means that when she sees them on TV or in books or movies or in person she knows what that is and it makes her so excited.This little five piece set is no exception to the normal quality that we find in any other pieces. It’s a really nice set to gift as well I think in part because of the the bears look great and let you build a nice little storyline when playing. If you have someone that loves animals or you think might be into them this is where to look for sets and feel like it was well worth the price.
