   All in all they are wonderful. No offensive plastic toy smell. Not flimsy either. I bought them primarily for the purpose of teaching my daughter about animals. Secondarily I use them to help teach letter sounds. With that said I had to spend a bit of time identifying each animal. A key to identify the animals would have been very helpful and in fact necessary if you’re using these to teach your child, or in my case myself first then my child. I struggled on a few.    My granddaughter picked out two sets of these (dinosaurs and jungle animals) at the store for her 3rd birthday and she has gotten so many hours of fun out of them, that I decided to buy several sets for the grandkids to play with at my house. I have the marine animals, a second set of the jungle animals and country world. All my grandkids love playing with these. They keep the kids occupied in the car and at restaurants. It really does not matter which set you buy—the kids love them all and they entertain a wide age range. Some other reviewers have complained about a toxic smell—I don’t notice that. Right out of the plastic tub, they do smell like plastic to me.A couple of complaints:The fence pieces are not that sturdy (especially if they are stepped on). Also, all of the animals—no matter the size, seem to be molded in two separate pieces and then glued together (e.g. the horses neck/head is glued onto the horse’s body). Many of the seams have glue showing, and the two parts of the animal are not always joined smoothly.But overall, I am a huge fan of these sets simply because of how much the kids love them, and the kids never seem to tire of playing with them.I am very happy with these Terra animal sets.I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be.    My son loves these. He puts them in the bath and hits them on everything and they stay intact. The crocodile’s mouth was deformed and a few of the animals legs were bent to where they don’t stand up but for the price, these are great.

   My 1 & 3 year old daughters LOVE this animal set. I would give it 5 stars if it came with a guide to identify the animals, or even better, a set of cards to use for a matching exercise. Several google image searches and we’re still unsure of what 2 of the deer/goat looking animals are. Even so, it’s worth the money and I plan to buy the farm animals set as well.

   Ordered this set for my grandson’s to play with. (Ages 7, and 4 yr old twins). They LOVE it! The first toys they play with at my house. The animals are well made and durable. A nice variety of Jungle animals. Bought a 2nd set for them to play with at our summer cabin!
