We had need for a couple of small scale horses. We got more than we needed with this package of 4 but they looked so good that we decided to buy them. If you get them, make sure to leave some time to release them from the plastic ties that so securely hold them in the packaging. In retrospect, cutting those plastic ties would have been a lot easier than trying to unwrap them. They all look like real horses: the paint is accurate and the proportions are right on target.

My 3, now 4, year old always includes these dogs in her pretend play. They are good quality. The puppies is very small though, so it would only be suitable for kids who have gotten past the mouthing stage. The other dogs are large enough though, so you could always put the puppies away until your child is older.
