   Update 12-29-18Within 3 days after Christmas, we’re down to 2 of 4 working properly. It’s not the batteries because they still make sound. They just keep making a cough like sound over and over.I ordered 4 of these for my boys. Three of them work great and they’re are really enjoying them. One of them doesn’t work most of the time though. I would think it was the batteries needed replaced. But the one occasionally works. Other than that, they are a great small toy for younger boys especially if they are into dinosaurs. It helps that they’ve seen them on toylabtv on YouTube to know some of the things to try to make them do.

   These were the rave, everyone wanted one including my 9 year old. She loved it for an hour and I haven’t seen her play with it since. Quality is good and it did everything it was supposed to which unfortunately just was not much for the price. It makes some sounds and movements but it’s always the same. There is no “training” or “learning”. You just touch it in certain spots and it does what it does. The rating is based solely on my kids interest. It is a quality product, I just wouldn’t pay that much for it again.

   This was purchased by my 8 year old dinosaur obsessed son with his birthday gift card. He loves it and is even sleeping with it. He was able to read instructions on how to play with it by himself. He has had a ball with it, It seems well made and shipping was extra fast.

   Let’s be honest, Fingerlings are just creepy looking and really don’t make sense as a toy. But then I saw this Untamed T-Rex by Fingerlings and I thought my son definitely needs this! So, for his birthday I got him this Fingerling and he loved it. Apparently, you “train” it. It will react to sounds and movement as well as how you touch it. There are sensors on it and after looking I really cannot tell where the sensors are, but it’s pretty cute when you pet it gently on the nose. It will “fart” it you touch it a certain way. I’m not thrilled about that. (I am not potty humor fan). The eyes blink and he’ll go to “sleep.” It comes with batteries so you don’t have to go around looking for the unique sized batteries it requires. There is an on and off switch which I recommend to conserve the battery. This is ready to go right out of the package. This will make a great gift, stocking stuffer, Easter Basket filler, or last minute birthday gift. I would have to say out of all of the big gifts my son got, this small one was one of the hits. It is about the size of an iPhone 5. He just sits on your finger and for less than $20 bucks it’s really nice toy and gift.

   My 5 year old grandson loves this. However, he has already broken a piece off it. Would like to see it a bit more sturdy in the arms and legs areas.

   Bought this for my niece’s 4 year old son. He loves dinosaurs and is spending weeks in the hospital. It holds his hand when they draw blood and he says it makes him brave.
