   I felt the “book” could have been larger, even a poster would be welcomed. The animals are gooda large size, detailed teach, eyes, tails and ears are impressive. For those reasons I will keep this but will try to do something more with the book.

   I was happy with this set. The animals are not as heavy as the more expensive brand but still adequate and the animals all stand OK. Some are quite fierce looking. The wolf has red eyes which I recolored with a black sharpie pen. The booklet is actually just a tiny pamphlet.

   The animals in this set are good quality and most are very cute. The only issue I had was the wolf’s red eyes were a bit creepy for kids. My older kids were ok with using it as the bad wolf on the farm haha. The book is more like a small pamphlet that will be trashed, but I knew that when ordering it. Overall, this is a good set for the cost.

   Most of the figures are fine, a couple have hilarious paint jobs though. Given their price, if they’re still cheap or say $1 per piece, is acceptable for kids toys. If you’re expecting a real book or book of any value at all, don’t. It’s paper and it has ani Al facts and it’s ok but it will last about 10 seconds in a child’s possession. The durability of the animals is solid plastic or rubber so if the paint on them holds up these should last forever I assume. My kid will enjoy them and they’re fine enough at this price point. If you want really high quality animal figures you’re going to pay $8 per animal or more, but these work

   These could be a bit heavier plastic but for the price they are good. The actual animal and colors are better represented than most that I have ordered in the past. For whatever reason, all the carnivores are represented in reasonably non aggressive stances except the wolf. The wolf had red eyes that are easily changed to black with a felt tip marker. I don’t like the idea of one species of carnivore being portrayed as evil. Other than that they are a decent quality for a good price. Oh, and it does come with a little pamphlet that give a brief description of the animals. Don’t expect a book.

   The size is big enough to see well and use as action figures, but small enough to pack away and/or take along or display on a small shelf. One thing I didn’t like is the red eyes on the wolf: please, let’s not demonize lovely animals. I fixed that problem with a permanent marker.

   This is a really nice set, especially considering the price. Our 2-year-old son absolutely loved it, and he has been showing them off to us, naming each of the animals.They are all a decent enough size that they should not be a choking hazard, and we were impressed with the details in the realistic looks. The biggest negative was the fact that the hippo falls over quite easily due to its shape – it is kind of difficult to have it stand, especially for our son.

   I love these and so will my students. They are the perfect size for their hands. Some of the animals are kind of mean and scary looking to me, but the kids love that! Very sturdy and solid so they should last a long time.
